The Ventura County Board of Supervisors passed the Habitat Connectivity and Wildlife Corridor Ordinance in March with the goal of protecting passageways for wildlife in certain areas.
However, not everyone is happy with the new regulations on development.
Spectrum News 1 spoke to cattle rancher, Bud Sloan, president of Ventura County Coalition of Labor, Agriculture and Business, about why he believes the ordinance could put some ranchers out of business.
