Steve Chavez Lodge

Republican Steve Chavez Lodge is a former police detective and police commissioner who lives in Trabuco Canyon. He is engaged to Real Housewives of Orange County star Vicki Gunvalson and believes the way to solve the homelessness crisis is by "retrofitting portions of the jails and prisons to safely and securely accommodate the drug-addicted and alcoholics" and "getting the mandatory treatment that they need."

David Lozano

David Lozano is a Republican from San Marino. He's an attorney and former Los Angeles County deputy sheriff who unsuccessfully ran for Congress in 2020. Ending homelessness is also a priority for Lozano; his plan calls for the construction of "three major metropolitan/residential cities… with the capability of housing over 50,000 homeless each."
