SANTA MONICA, Calif. – Discovering different cuisines and trying a combination of dishes is what you can do at SocialEats, a new dining experience.

John Kolaski, CEO of K2 Restaurants, dreamed of a space where guests could come together in a fast, easy way, but also enjoy what they wanted individually.

“Everyone is going to be able to find some food they like. They will be able to sit wherever they want to sit and enjoy what they want to enjoy, where they want to,” says Kolaski,

Kolaski opened an elevated food court nestled in the 3rd Street Promenade, which he says gets one million people a month passing through. Tourists and locals can grab a quick lunch or sit for a while in the massive space home to brand new and unique concepts.

“A higher quality product is being offered at the low price point, but bringing in pretty unique twists to the food so it’s not just a basic food court,” says Kolaski.

Made to order noodles from Street Noods, serves Asian-inspired dishes with a unique twist, like the Italian cacio e pepe. Right beside it, you can create your own bento box with fresh tuna, hand rolls, salads and more from SuperToro.

“You follow your bento box straight down as our chefs make it fresh for you,” says Kolaski.

Cada Vez brings the Spanish flair with meats, cheeses, and wines. You can also have a glass of wine at Adelaide at night. During the day, you can grab a coffee to keep up your energy.

A spot that promotes the local farmers markets is Petit Harvest, which has sandwiches and salads with ingredients from your own backyard. The best part is most of these concepts are new to the L.A. food scene.

Coming soon is Fuku by David Chang.

“We look at SocialEats as an incubator with the plan to grow these outside of Social Eats,” says Kolaski.

There is so much to explore at Social Eats, it will keep you coming back for more.

SocialEats is located at 1315 Third Street Promenade, Santa Monica, CA 90410.
