PALM DESERT, Calif. — A $2.3 million federal grant to assist migrant farmworkers stay enrolled in college was recently awarded to Cal State San Bernardino and OneFuture Coachella Valley, a regional organization focused on supporting the local workforce.

The five-year College Assistance Migrant Program (CAMP) grant from the U.S. Department of Education will help season farmworkers or their children stay in school during the first year of college and continue into the second year.
