KENTUCKY — The Commonwealth has a historic budget surplus and unspent federal aid, leaving lawmakers in both the Democratic and Republican parties with differing opinions on how to allocate the available dollars in Kentucky’s state budget and all eyes continue to remain on if the final approved budget will reflect Kentucky’s values and priorities.
