OLDHAM COUNTY, Ky. - Remember mail? Two sisters are using postcards to send smiles and spread kindness during the coronavirus pandemic. Sisters Raegan, 11, and Rylyn Richins, 8, became popular members of the Oldham County community for making 'Be Kind' yard signs.

Since August, they've made more than 1,600 to sell for charity donations. Now, they're writing messages on postcards and sending to anyone who requests one on their website

"Be kind at home!" is their new slogan, at least for the time being.

"We thought during this hard time, that people could use happiness and smiles and we thought a way to do this is to send out cards, since we can't make contact with people," Raegan says.

"Life at this time can be pretty hard because there's the pandemic and there could be other troubles," Rylyn says.

The postcards are being sent for free; the young ladies are still making signs, which cost $10. The proceeds go to the buyer's choice of community charity.
