CRESTVIEW HILLS, Ky. — An unknown hacker recently took control of Thomas More University's Facebook page, the school announced earlier this weekend.

The Catholic liberal arts college in northern Kentucky said its account with over 7,000 followers was hacked on Friday. They've contacted Facebook directly to help get control of their page and have started a temporary account in the meantime, according to a post on Facebook.

"Of course we are frustrated by the incident, but we ask for your patience and grace as we work through this challenge," the Facebook post read.

The school's compromised account has made several posts over the last few days, most featuring an unnamed woman in revealing clothing. The first post after the alleged hack was sent shortly after 10 a.m. Friday.

It is not yet known if or when Thomas More University will have access to its original Facebook account. You can follow their new account for the latest updates and information.
