GREEN BAY (Spectrum News) -- Green Bay Packers legend LeRoy Butler now has more than a Super Bowl ring on his finger. Saturday Butler tied the knot with his new wife Genesis Jordan at Lambeau Field.

What made the wedding unique was the fact that hundreds of devoted Packer fans had the chance to join in on the ceremony. Butler sold tickets to the wedding and made them available to all fans. Butler says proceeds from the tickets will be donated to charity. For him, it was a unique opportunity to make sure all were welcome at his wedding.

“I wanted to give them the opportunity to share the big day with me and Genesis. I love it, I love the fact that another player might not ever do it. I love that I get to have everybody dress up and have a lot of fun.” Says Butler

Fans who had a chance to take in the ceremony say it was an extremely unique opportunity to see the wedding of an NFL star up close.

“When we heard he was getting married and the proceeds from the wedding were also going to charity we thought it would be great to partake and do that at Lambeau Field, it would be a once in a lifetime experience.” Says Rachel Oemig-Klein, who travelled from Waukesha County to attend the nuptials.

Several former Packers were a part of Butler’s wedding party as well, including Gary Ellerson, Gilbert Brown, and George Koonce.

Proceeds were doanted to Friends of Autism, The Salvation Army and Hunger Task Force.
