A native of Wisconsin, Dennis Krause has been passionately reporting on the communities across The Badger State for over three decades. With all but three years of his life spent in Wisconsin, Dennis has a deep connection with the history, people and places across the state. From an early age, Dennis knew his dream was to be a sportscaster for the teams he grew up watching.  Today, Dennis is proud anchor for Spectrum News 1 with five Sportscaster of the Year awards and a Midwest Emmy Silver Circle under his belt.

Dennis has covered countless stories throughout his career, however, one that sticks out to him as his most memorable is his coverage at Lambeau Field when the Packers won the 1996 NFC Championship. Despite covering the Packers in the three Super Bowls, that one was a celebration in Green Bay where the loyal Packer fans were able to enjoy their first hometown season victory in 30 years. For Dennis, his career is built upon accuracy, knowledge and trustworthiness. He considers himself a representative of the viewers and always makes sure to provide the information he believes people would ask about,  if they had the chance.

In Dennis’s off time, you can find him spending time with his wife Julie, whom he’s been married for 32 years, his two kids Melissa and Zac, and their first grandchild, Arthur. More so, Dennis enjoys relaxing with a long walk, especially during the beautiful Wisconsin summers.
