ORLANDO, Fla. -- Wonderful World of Animation, a new nighttime show, will debut at Disney's Hollywood Studios on May 1, Disney revealed Tuesday.

• Wonderful World of Animation coming to Disney's Hollywood Studios
• New show set to debut at the park on May 1
• Nighttime experience will showcase 90 years of Disney animation

The show, which was previously announced back in November, will feature "state-of-the-art projection technology" and take visitors through 90 years of Disney animation.

Wonderful World of Animation arrives in time for Hollywood Studios' 30th anniversary. The park, formerly known as Disney-MGM Studios, first opened on May 1, 1989. 

The nighttime show isn't the only new thing coming to the park in 2019. Lightning McQueen's Racing Academy is set to debut in the spring, while Mickey & Minnie's Runaway Railway and Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge will arrive later in the year.
