ORLANDO, Fla. – Bright suns!

It's one of the phrases you'll likely hear as soon as you enter Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge.

The new 14-acre land at Disney's Hollywood Studios is set in Black Spire Outpost, a remote trading port on the planet of Batuu. In addition to a marketplace, a cantina and a replica of the Millennium Falcon, the settlement is home to plenty of villagers (Disney cast members) who have their own way of speaking.

The locals use phrases that could confuse first-time time visitors. But no need to worry. This handy guide will help you learn some of lingo.

You'll be speaking like a Batuuan in no time.

Bright suns – It's the greeting of choice in Black Spire Outpost when saying "hello" or "good morning."

Rising moons – Often uttered by locals at night, it translates to "good evening."

'Til the spires – It's one of the ways locals say "goodbye."

May the spires keep you –  This phrases is a send-off, like "wish you well."

Refreshers – If you need to find a restroom, you'd ask where the refreshers are.

Younglings, Padawans – These two phrases can be used interchangeably to mean "children."

And if you need help translating signs in Aurebesh, you can consult your data pad, the local term for "mobile phone." The Play Disney Parks app features a translation tool that can be used throughout the land.
