ORLANDO, Fla. – A few Florida theme parks will celebrate the Fourth of July this year will fireworks.

The parks were unable to hold their annual fireworks celebrations last year either due to closures or COVID-19 restrictions. But now, as restrictions lift, some parks are bringing out the fireworks for the holiday weekend.

Disney World and Universal Orlando won't have specific Fourth of July fireworks this year. Instead, Disney World visitors can catch the resort's nightly fireworks "Happily Ever After" at Magic Kingdom and "Epcot Forever" at Epcot, while Universal is offering its Cinematic Celebration on select nights.

Here's what each park has planned.

SEAWORLD ORLANDO

For the Fourth of July weekend, SeaWorld will add a patriotic finale to its Ignite fireworks spectacular. The fireworks are scheduled to begin at 10 p.m. on July 2, 3 and 4 (weather permitting), followed by the finale at 11:30 p.m.

LEGOLAND FLORIDA

Red, White & Boom returns to Legoland for the Fourth of July weekend. The fireworks spectacular will take place over the park’s Lake Eloise at 9 p.m. on July 3 and 4. Visitors will be able to grab a pair of complimentary 3D glasses, which will allow them to see the fireworks turn into Lego bricks. Legoland says there will be five viewing areas around the park: Pirate’s Cove North & South Stadium, Pirate Cove’s Grass Line, Lego Technic, Miniland USA and Mansion Lawn at Heartlake City. The event is included with general theme park admission and select annual passes.

BUSCH GARDENS TAMPA BAY

Busch Gardens, which is putting on nightly fireworks for the summer, will have an extended presentation of its Spark! nighttime spectacular just for Fourth of July weekend. The show will get a patriotic finale on July 2, 3 and 4. The fireworks will launch at 9:15 p.m. (weather permitting) each night.

FUN SPOT AMERICA

Fun Spot America will offer a "huge" fireworks display on July 3 at its Orlando and Kissimmee parks. The fireworks will start at 9 p.m.
