ORLANDO, Fla. – Candlelight Processional is returning to Epcot this year with a few changes, Disney World announced Tuesday.

What You Need To Know

  • Candlelight Processional returning to Epcot this year

  • The holiday show will run Nov. 26-Dec. 30 as part of Epcot Festival of the Holidays

  • The choir will be comprised of only Disney cast members

  • Celebrity narrators will also be returning; list not yet released

The live holiday show will run Nov. 26-Dec. 30 as part of the Epcot International Festival of the Holidays.

In the past, the Candlelight Processional, located in the America Gardens Theatre, featured a celebrity narrator retelling the traditional Christmas story as well as a live orchestra and a mass choir.

For this year’s performances, the choir will only include cast members instead of choirs from schools and the community.

“To maintain the grandeur of the performance, we are expanding our cast member choir to fill the stage with voices,” read a post on the official Disney Parks Blog. “We’re optimistic that the guest choirs will be able to rejoin us next year for this special holiday opportunity.”

Celebrity narrators are also returning this year, but Disney has not yet released the lineup. All performers, including musicians, singers and narrators will be required to be vaccinated against COVID-19.

Candlelight Processional was canceled last year because of the pandemic.

In addition to the processional, the Festival of the Holidays will also feature holiday kitchens around the World Showcase, a holiday cookie stroll and festive décor.
