BREVARD COUNTY, Fla. — Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex has announced a fall event that will feature food with a side of space.

Taste of Space: Fall Bites will run Oct. 8 through Nov. 5.
During the festival, seasonal menus will be available at Orbit Café and Moon Rocket Café. Menu items include beef brisket slider, bratwurst topped with sauerkraut and whole grain mustard, and caramel apple cheesecake.
The complex’s Milky Way ice cream shop will also feature a special dessert: a pumpkin caramel éclair. And seasonal brews will be available for visitors aged 21 and older at Planet Play.
“Our guests are consistently surprised and delighted by the quality of our culinary offerings here at Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex,” chief operating officer Therrin Protze said in a statement. “Our chefs cannot wait to showcase their expertise and share these tantalizing tidbits.
On the final day of the festival, Kennedy Space Center will offer an exclusive dinner opportunity called Taste of Space: A Culinary Journey. The dinner will begin at 6:30 p.m. and include a four-course meal, beer and wine samples and live entertainment. Astronauts Brue Melnick, Winston Scott and Mark Lee will be in attendance.
Tickets for Taste of Space: A Culinary Journey, are $159 per person.

Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex still has a number of health and safety measures in place such as limited attendance, social distancing and increased cleaning. All visitors, even those vaccinated against COVID-19 are required to wear face masks in all indoor locations, except when eating or drinking.
