ORLANDO, Fla. — With the Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival set to begin at Disney World in just a couple of weeks, the first set of character topiaries have started to spring up around the park — and some are sporting a new look.

What You Need To Know

  • Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival kicks off March 2

  • Ahead of the festival, character topiaries have started to spring up around the park

  • Anna and Elsa are up in Norway along with a re-imagined Troll topiary

During a quick stroll around Epcot’s World Showcase on Friday, we spotted several topiaries.

In the Norway pavilion, a re-imagined troll topiary is on display. The troll’s face has been given more detail than versions from years past. It joins the Anna and Elsa topiaries, which are located near the entrance of the pavilion.

Over in the China pavilion, topiaries of “playful” pandas have been installed.

The characters from “Winnie the Pooh” are back again in the UK pavilion. On one side of the display are topiaries of Rabbit and Winnie the Pooh, while Tigger, Piglet and Eeyore make up the other side.

And not far from the UK pavilion, there’s a topiary of Tick-Tock the crocodile from “Peter Pan.” Just across from the croc are the topiaries of Hook and Peter Pan.

More topiaries will pop up in the coming days, including Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Lumiere and Cogsworth from “Beauty and the Beast” and Goofy in a new 50th anniversary display.

The Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival will kick off March 2, just a week after the Epcot International Festival of the Arts wraps up on Feb. 21.
