The modified version of the show, which debuted Monday, includes a new intro featuring images of Walt Disney, Roy Disney, and archival footage such as clips from the video for the “Florida Project” projected onto Cinderella Castle.

“As you can see on this map, we have a perfect location in Florida,” Walt says in the footage. “There’s enough land here to hold all the ideas and plans you can possibly imagine.”

The new show also includes moments from Roy Disney’s speech during Disney World’s dedication ceremony in 1971.

“May Walt Disney World bring joy and inspiration and new knowledge to all who come to this happy place,” Roy Disney says in the clip.

Disney also added a sequence highlighting long-running Magic Kingdom attractions such as Pirates of the Caribbean, The Haunted Mansion, it’s a small world and Carousel of Progress.

The new intro ends with Mickey Mouse telling visitors that they are what makes Disney World special.

“Some folks like to say it all started with a dream, but you want to know what makes this place really special? It’s you. Each and every one of you” Mickey Mouse says. “Any time you set foot here, you leave this place brighter than it was before because you are the magic.”

The nostalgic touches added to Disney Enchantment come almost a year after the show first debuted as part of Disney World’s 50th anniversary celebration.
