ORLANDO, Fla. β€” It’s Christmas time on Church Street.

At dusk on Sunday, Orlando officials will officially turn the switch on and light the 30-foot golden Christmas tree at the center of the Church Street Market.

The holiday tree will illuminate the center of the historic City District and will live steps away from Amway Center and the main downtown business thoroughfares until the new year.

The tree lighting also will give patrons an opportunity to support local, micro-businesses and pick out holiday gifts.

Eighteen local artisans and small shops will display their unique holiday gifts, crafts and goods at the plaza at Church Street Market for visitors to purchase.

Also, live music, local food and beverages will be available.
