  • Gatorland is offering Florida residents a discount on daily admission in May

The event, which will run May 14-15, will feature live music, artisans, games, specialty food and craft vendors and, of course, alligators.

Gatorpalooza will also include the second annual Florida Man Challenge — a triathlon-style competition that will have participants racing through a muddy swamp “swarming with alligators.”

“We are so excited to host our Gatorpalooza festival again, and roll out Gatorland’s unique style of fun and excitement during this special weekend event,” Gatorland president Mark McHugh said in a statement.

Gatorland will also offer Florida residents a discount on daily admission for the entire month of May. The price for a ticket will cost $16.50 plus tax for adults and $11.50 plus tax for children (ages 3-12).

To receive the discount, adults must provide proof of Florida residency at the gate.

In addition to gators, Gatorland also features an aviary, petting zoo, live shows and more across its 110-acre park.
