ORLANDO, Fla. — "Drawn to Life," the new Cirque du Soleil show at Disney Springs, is on a scheduled break through May 23.

​The live show, which first debuted in November, will resume performances on May 24.

A Cirque du Soleil spokesperson said breaks are scheduled periodically throughout the year so performers can rest.

There will be another scheduled break for the performers in September.

"Drawn to Life," a collaboration between Cirque du Soleil, Walt Disney Animation Studios and Walt Disney Imagineering, centers around a young girl named Julie who discovers a letter from her late father, who was a Disney animator.

The 90-minute show features several different acts that incorporate music, acrobatic performances, special effects and Disney animation.
