PORT CANAVERAL, Fla. — Disney Wish, the newest cruise ship for Disney Cruise Line, will have its christening ceremony this week, ahead of its maiden voyage next month.

​​​The ceremony is scheduled for Wednesday at Port Canaveral. Disney plans to live-stream the event at 11 a.m. E.T. on its Disney Parks Blog.

During the christening ceremony, Disney said it will share details about the ship’s offerings, including the new AquaMouse attraction, the Star Wars lounge and dining experiences themed to Marvel and “Frozen.”

Following the christening ceremony, the ship will embark on a three-night media preview sailing. It will then return to Port Canaveral to prepare for its maiden voyage July 14.

Disney Wish is the fifth ship in the Disney Cruise Line fleet, joining Disney Dream, Disney Magic, Disney Fantasy and Disney Wonder. It’s also the first of three new Triton-class ships that will be powered by liquefied natural gas.
