BREVARD COUNTY, Fla. — Kennedy Space Center will give guests the chance to mingle with astronauts while enjoying the flavors of fall at the 2nd Annual Taste of Space, the Marstini Shake-off edition, at 6:30 p.m. Oct. 7 at Gateway: The Deep Space Launch Complex.

Culinary stations will feature bites and sips from local bars and restaurants.

Meanwhile, cocktail specialists from the local bars and restaurants will create their own concoctions of a “Marstini” cocktail in a head-to-head competition. Guests can taste and vote virtually to help determine the winner of the People’s Choice award. Participating bars and restaurants include Jack & Harry’s, Playalinda Brewing Company, The Space Bar and Third Culture Kitchen.

Guests also can explore the "Red Planet" at Gateway’s motion-theater ride at Spaceport KSC.

Some of the menu items at the culinary stations will include Robonaut Red Ale Beer Cheese Dip with pretzel bites, bacon-wrapped scallops with apricot jam, pork schnitzel sliders topped with brussel sprout slaw (tossed with lemon vinaigrette), cheesy potato and bratwurst casserole, Black Forest cupcakes and many more.
