While many small businesses sell their gift cards on their website, "Help Main Street" is a new site that aggregates them in one place. The Queens and Manhattan founders were looking to find a way to direct more funds to businesses taking a financial hit from the coronavirus crisis. And thought this would encourage residents to help support their favorite places.

"By us all purchasing gift cards for these different small businesses, it helps them to keep the lights on, helps them keep their employees employed as well as pay for any other expenses that they have," said co-founder, Andrew Boryk.

The website now features 16,000 establishments nationwide, and about 3,000 are from the five boroughs.
