GENEVA, N.Y. — This Sunday, many in Geneva will be rooting for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

That's because one of the people suiting up will be Ali Marpet, a 2015 graduate of Hobart College.

Marpet is the left guard for the Buccaneers. For many at Hobart College, they look at Marpet as a beacon of hope. Marpet came from a small Division III school and made it all the way to the Super Bowl.

"It's amazing to think a Division III athlete being a captain of Tampa Bay and being a team representative and not to give up a sack the entire year, it's hard to imagine that's even possible," said Mike Cragg, senior director of advancement for athletics.

Marpet is also known for being a great person who gives back to people in the community.
