Local people are volunteering to lend a hand to those who are vulnerable and need help getting the essentials during the pandemic.

They're doing it through the "Lend a Hand 2020" program, which helps young people match with at-risk folks in their area to help out with things like delivering groceries, hand sanitizer, or even just to call and check-in.

"It's important that we help them and put... and make them feel like the people in their community care. Because they do, but a lot of people kind of do want to help but don't have that option either. So we're just trying to kind of use... like, leverage the good of the people in our community to help others," said Noah Luciano, program manager.
