Thousands have been watching closely and finally, the first hatchlings of the season happened high above Rochester.

Many saw the first hatching happen live late Wednesday afternoon. The second took place around 3:30 a.m. Thursday. The baby bird are two of four peregrine falcon eggs in the next at the top of the Times Square Building in downtown Rochester.

Falcon parents Beauty and Dot take turns keeping the next warm, as they wait for the others to hatch.

Cameras live stream all the Falcons' activity, and have been doing so since 2010.
