CANANDAIGUA, N.Y. — Phase two of construction on a new $9.7 million affordable housing complex in Canandaigua has finished.

Phase two will provide 30 affordable units at Happiness House Apartments for individuals making at or below 50% of the area's median income.

Eight studio apartments will be set aside for those age 55 and older and nine other apartments for those who have previously been homeless.

Gov. Andrew Cuomo says residents will have access to support services, including recovery services for those with a history of substance abuse.
