The Monroe County Board of Elections is working tirelessly to get ready for early voting.

It all begins Saturday, Oct. 26, 2019 - the first time early voting has ever been available in New York State. It means anyone who is registered to vote in Monroe County can cast their ballot at any of the early voting locations.

Last Friday, election officials were practicing for early voting with run-throughs to make sure all the poll workers know what to expect.

Not only is this the first time there is early voting, but it's also the first time iPad devices will be used for check-in at polling places, instead of the big poll books.

Elections officials say their technicians are currently programming 742 voting machines for the November 5 election and 315 machines for early voting.

The board of elections wants voters to know that it does not matter which district you normally vote in. You can go to any of the seven locations as long as you are a registered voter in Monroe County.

Early voting centers will open on October 26, 2019 and be open daily through November 3, 2019.

Below is a schedule of dates, times and locations where early voters can cast their ballots.
