A rail worker died after being hit by a train on the former Seneca Army Depot property in Romulus Thursday morning.

The Seneca County Sheriff's Office says 46-year-old Thomas Horn and another employee of the Andersons Rail Group were moving rail cars to another location when he apparently fell and was hit by the industrial train.

The other employee was not injured.

The sheriff's office is working with the Federal Railroad Administration and National Transportation Safety Board.
