It was another busy night for the Rochester Police Department as five people were shot at one incident and two businesses were struck by gunfire.

Just before midnight on Thurston Road, police say five people were shot at one incident. While investigating the scene, police say the victims showed up at the hospital with gunshot wounds.

Four of them were men, one 30 and the other three in their 20s, and one 32-year-old female. All of the injuries are considered nonlife threatening.

Nobody has been charged at this time and the investigation is ongoing.

On East Avenue, police say two businesses were struck by gunfire.

Police responded to this call around 2 a.m. while officers were working to clear out crowds from the bar area.

Multiple windows at each building were shattered by gunfire. RPD says the two buildings struck were the Bubble Fusion Tea Shop and News10 NBC.

“We are most grateful that all of our colleagues are safe and no one at News10NBC was injured," read a statement from News10 NBC. "We appreciate the dedication of our team members who continued station operations uninterrupted. We understand that News10NBC was not a target. Our thanks to the Rochester Police Department for its rapid response.”

Nobody was injured by the gunfire.

This is an ongoing investigation and nobody is in custody at this time.
