BRIGHTON, N.Y. — Brighton police say they've located the vehicle involved in a hit-and-run that killed a pedestrian.

They're still searching for the driver.

The incident happened at the intersection of Highland and Council Rock avenues just before 3 p.m. on Wednesday.

Police say the victim is a man in his mid-30s.

The vehicle was found in the area of East Main and Illinois streets in the city of Rochester with front end damage, according to investigators.

Police are asking anyone with information or anyone who may have home surveillance footage in the area of the crash to call 911.

The victim's name has not yet been released.
