SAN ANTONIO - Top experts from around the nation put their minds together in San Antonio to help battle combat-related PTSD.

For the second year theĀ STRONG STARĀ Consortium, the Consortium to Alleviate PTSD and UT Health San Antonio brought together hundreds of people to discuss a variety of treatments.

For two days, they listened to new trends in research and presentations on suicide, insomnia and substance abuse.

"We're assuming there's not going to be one treatment for PTSD, so we're trying to look at what types of treatments might work best for what types of PTSD and what types of individuals," said Dr. Alan Peterson.
