SAN ANTONIO – With the first of its kind farm in South Central Texas, IDEA Public Schools is on a mission to be the healthiest school district in the nation.

The name of the new program is called Healthy Kids. Schools are growing rows of cabbage, lettuce, tomatoes, kale, carrots and broccoli.

IDEA Schools' fresh concept has important goals. They hope to create healthy habits for students through proper nutrition and physical activity.
