AUSTIN, Texas — Austin bumped Colorado Springs for the number-five spot on U.S. News & World Report's “150 Best Places to Live in the U.S. in 2021-2022.”

U.S. News says it analyzed 150 of the most populous metro areas to find the best places to live. The magazine looked at value, desirability and job market.

Austin came in at number five with an overall score of 7.3 out of 10. Boulder, Colorado, came in at number one, followed by Raleigh and Durham in North Carolina, Huntsville, Alabama, and Fayetteville, Arkansas.
