On Staten Island two sisters have started a community Bingo game that adheres to social distancing rules.

Cindy and Gale Johnson of Graniteville said they wanted to bring the community back together, during a time when many may feel alone because of the coronavirus pandemic.

To do that, the sisters transformed their street on Lynn Court into a giant Bingo hall.

They invited their neighbors to play by leaving flyers in their mailboxes.

Participants do have to bring their own chairs and coins.

"It really broke up their day; it was like the whole afternoon was so wonderful. It was sunny out, everyone got outside it was beautiful, perfect," said organizer Gale Johnson.

The Johnson sisters told NY1 that they hope to encourage other neighborhoods to host Bingo nights on their blocks.
