DADE CITY, Fla. – Snowcat Ridge, Florida’s first and only snow park, will have new attractions when it reopens later this year for its 2021 season.

What You Need To Know

  • Snowcat Ridge, Florida's snow park, will reopen for its new season in November

  • The park is adding two new attractions to the lineup

  • Crystal Ribbon will be an outdoor ice skating area

  • Eskimo Outpost will feature private igloos available to rent

The park first debut last November with a 400-foot-long snow tubing hill and a 10,000-square-foot Arctic Igloo indoor snow play area among its attractions.

When it reopens later this year, the park will feature two new attractions—Crystal Ribbon, an outdoor ice skating area with a rink and beginner oval; and Eskimo Outpost, which will feature private igloos visitors can rent for parties or events.

For Crystal Ribbon, visitors can rent ice skates or bring their own. All-day access to the attraction is included with a general admission ticket, which is required for all visitors ages two and older, according to the Snowcat Ridge website.

Eskimo Outpost, located near the park’s Snowy Slopes, will include eight private igloos that can accommodate up to 20 people each.

Igloo rentals will feature exclusive access to the Refreshers: Beer, Wine & Drinks area located in Eskimo Outpost, unlimited bottled water and outdoor seating with fire pit. Bookings for the igloo rentals will be available “soon.”

Snowcat Ridge is set to open for its new season on November 10. As part of the Freedom Week sales tax holiday, the park is offering a discount on tickets through July 7.
