  •  The Dade City snow park has added new attractions

  • Snowcat had a bumpy start last year during its debut season

The park, which features a 400-foot-long snow tubing hill and a 10,000-square-foot indoor snow play area, has added a few new attractions for the upcoming season.

In July, the park announced an outdoor ice skating area as well as private igloos to rent

During its inaugural season, Snowcat Ridge had a bumpy start. The park experienced a snow shortage just days after opening. At the time, park officials said they “misestimated” the amount of snow it would need for its indoor play area.

And then a month after opening, the park was shut down by Pasco County officials over permit issues.

For its second season, Snowcat Ridge plans to stay open through March 27, according to the calendar on its website.

Ticket prices start at $26.95 and vary depending on the date. Parking costs $15.
