Light winds and mostly clear to partly cloudy skies will allow the temperatures to drop quickly this evening.

  • Partly cloudy skies
  • Lows in the upper 40s to 50s
  • Rain chances slim

Skies will be partly cloudy through Sunday morning. Lows will be similar to this morning, in the upper 40s north to upper 50s around Tampa Bay.  The clouds will keep the fog from being widespread.

On Sunday more upper level energy will move into the eastern Gulf. This may start some more showers out over the waters. The clouds from these showers are likely to spread into our area.  The chance for rain stays slim though. High temperatures will be near normal in the mid 70s. High pressure will spreading across the northern Gulf and across Florida, so winds will be light.

Sunday night will be cool again since the dew points will remain low, and the winds stay light.

After a cool start on Monday, skies will be mostly sunny and winds will be light.  Highs are likely to be a few degrees higher, reaching the mid to upper 70s.  Humidity will remain low.  High pressure continues.

Tuesday begins a warming trend. The morning will start in the low 50s north to low 60s Tampa Bay. Skies will be partly cloudy and highs will be in the upper 70s to around 80.  A few clouds are likely to start on the Atlantic side and move west across the state through the day.  High pressure remains anchored just to our north.

On Wednesday, winds will shift from northeast to east. Again some clouds will start on the Atlantic side and move west toward the Gulf. The humidity will increase some. Temperatures will make it into the lower 80s. There might be somewhat of a breeze during the day.

Lighter winds return on Thursday.  A sea breeze is likely in the afternoon. Prevailing winds will still be northeast.  Skies will be mostly sunny.

Another front is likely on Friday. The rain chance looks slim, but it will be cooler on Saturday behind it.
