HERNANDO COUNTY, Fla.-- Four children were found safe after being kidnapped by their father on Friday, according to the Hernando County Sheriff's Office.

- Father, Muharib Kursheed, held without bond
Deputies say that Muharib Kursheed showed up at a Spring Hill home, where the children live with their mother, in violation of a court order. Deputies say that he sat in his car and waited for the kids to walk outside. He then took all four kids and drove off.
According to the court order, Kursheed was not allowed contact with the children or their mother.
The mother of the children tried to follow Kursheed but when she lost sight of him she called 9-1-1.
Detectives worked throughout the day with several agencies and found the kids and Kursheed in Clearwater, Friday evening.
Kursheed was charged with interference with child custody and violation of injunction.
Authorities say that he is being held without bond.
