PORT RICHEY, Fla.— A Wesley Chapel man was killed while riding his motorcycle Saturday.

• Motorcyclist, 23, killed on scene
• Driver of other vehicle sustained minor injuries

Jacob Gianatasio, 23, was riding his motorcycle southbound on U.S. Highway 19 just south of San Marco Drive at about 12:30 p.m.

He was struck by a vehicle driven by 83-year-old James Pulver, who was attempting to make a U-turn, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

Pulver sustained minor injuries and was transported to Bayonet Point.

Gianatasio was pronounced dead at the scene.

The investigation is ongoing.
