ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — A St. Petersburg man has been charged in the death of his half-brother.

Stevie Murph, 26, is charged with first-degree murder in the death of Antwan Hill, 29. 

Police said the two half-brothers got into an altercation at Murph's home, located at 2864 1st Avenue South, early Thursday morning. The fight started inside the house and continued out on the porch where Murph injured Hill, according to the report. 

Hills was transported to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead. 

After the fight, police said Murph fled the scene in a vehicle and crashed a few blocks down the road in the 2500 block of 2nd Avenue South, where he was taken into custody. 

No other information has been released.
