PINELLAS, Fla. — A substitute teacher in Pinellas County was arrested and charged Tuesday after bringing a gun on campus, officials said.

Jesse Jones is charged with carrying a concealed firearm at Anona Elementary School.

The school was briefly placed on lockdown on Tuesday.

Jones was removed from the classroom by the school's security officer and is no longer eligible to fill-in for any Pinellas County schools.
