The person who was killed Friday morning in a boat collision on the Little Manatee River has been identified.

Arthur D. Showley was killed in the boating accident that left others hurt, according to the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission. The 74-year-old Showley was from Indiana and a part-time resident of Ruskin.

Two people were injured in the two-boat crash, which happened near Shell Point Marina in Ruskin. The two injured people were rushed to an area hospital. Their conditions are unknown. 

According to Hillsborough County Fire Rescue, the crash happened just after 8:30 a.m. 

No details of the crash have been released. 

In addition to Hillsborough County Fire Rescue, the Sheriff's Office and the Florida Fish and Wildlife Commission responded to the crash.

FWC will lead the crash investigation.
