TAMPA, Fla. — A wake is being held Friday for a Bay Area teen who collapsed and died during football conditioning.

Earlier this month 14-year-old Hezekiah Walters, an incoming freshman at Middleton High School was working out when he started having a seizure and vomiting.

According to the medical examiner's preliminary report, when paramedics arrived he was in cardiac arrest.

The report does not say what caused the teen's death and the school district says it's still investigating.

Funeral Services for Hezekiah Walters will be tomorrow at 11 a.m. 

Both the wake and funeral will be held at Bible Base Church, 8718 N 46th Street.
