Ashley Freeman and her boyfriend, Corey Graves started the clothing brand, Mind Racer Lounge Wear. They told us the pandemic has negatively affected many people’s mental health and created new barriers for people already suffering mental illness.

“I personally experienced anxiety and depression, and I went through postpartum depression with both of my kids and I thought that it was very important to spread awareness, especially because I didn’t really have that much knowledge on it and I can only imagine how many other people don’t have knowledge, so I thought why not spread awareness,” Freeman explains.

They hope their clothing will emphasize the importance of checking on your friends, family, and co-workers.

The couple has also started a nonprofit organization called In My Mind Inc., which will be funded through profits made from the clothing business. They will be partnering up with specialists, teachers, and parents for an outreach program to provide people with direct access to get help.
