“The exhibition was birthed out of the need for travel and the desire to get out and about and be socially engaged, reengage after being quarantined and shuttered for so many months,” said Tyler Jones, the Board President of Florida Craft Art.

The mixed media exhibition offers ceramics, textiles, wood carvings and wire scutpltures.

There is even moonstone jewelry created as a nod to Florida's space travel legacy. Moonstone is the official gemstone of Florida.

This week, Florida Craft Art will be welcoming New York Times bestselling author John Prevas for a talk on his extensive world travels.

The talk begins at 6 p.m. Thursday.

The exhibition will be open through August 22.
