ST. PETE BEACH, Fla. — One of southern Pinellas County’s most popular vacation spots is offering a uniquely Floridian sports-centric getaway experience as the Tampa Bay Buccaneers take a shot at a Super Bowl repeat.

St. Pete Beach’s Tradewinds Island Resorts is bringing back its Bucs Beach Bash packages to home team fans and out-of-towners alike, and kicks off with the Bucs’ away game against the Philadelphia Eagles on Thursday, October 14.

The Beach Bash kicks off Thursday with a pre-game tailgate throwdown and watch party — those that sign up for the three-night stay will enjoy up-close-and-personal VIP seating for the game as part of their package. But the events surrounding the game itself are just the beginning; you might say they, er, kick off the festivities. Two-night packages for Friday-Sunday are also available.

Those that book rooms at the Tradewinds for either package will get perks and preferred options all weekend long, including two entries into a giveaway that will see the winners flying out on a private charter to watch the Bucs battle the Falcons in Atlanta on December 5; up-front VIP area access for live concerts Friday (country performer Angie Rey) and Saturday (Kenny Chesney tribute act Pirate Flag Band) nights; and half-off entry for one team into the Beach Bash’s two-day corn hole tournament.
