PASCO COUNTY, Fla. — A Pasco County 4th grader is in the running for America's best mullet. 

Kayden Manning, 9, is known as the mullet man. 

"My baseball camp coach, he always called me mullet man, and everyone in camp did," Kayden said. 

Kayden is learning everything he knows about the mullet lifestyle from his stepdad Chris. 

"We decided to grow them out for our wedding. We get married in February and Kayden is my junior best man, so he wanted to grow one out too. So we said go for it," Chris explained. 

Kayden is currently 5th in the top 25 for America's best mullet. He's hoping to bring the title home to Tampa Bay.
