ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — If you're looking for a Valentine's Day nighttime event, you can experience some good old fashioned mob hits, big band style!

  1. Ricky Sylvia is the band leader of The Buzzcatz. He has performed in nearly 1,000 weddings.

  2. His professional career started 47 years ago at the age of 11. His first gig was outside of the then-Orlando Municipal Auditorium, now the Bob Carr.

  3. Ricky and a nine-member big band are currently rehearing for their “That's Amore” Valentine's Day show at the Orlando Museum of Art.

  4. The Buzzcatz band is knowm for its “mob hits,” including tunes by Bobby Darin, Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin.

  5. The show is Monday, February 14, 2022 at 8 p.m. Cocktail hour is at 7 p.m. in the museum rotunda with the Jeff Rupert Quartet.
