ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — If you don't have a personal ride to the polls on Election Day, don't fret — you have options.

Some Tampa Bay area bus systems are transporting people to the polls for free. Additionally, there are ride-share options.

Here's a county-by-county list of how you can get to your precinct on Election Day for free or at a reduced cost.

SOULS TO THE POLLS

The Equal Ground Education Fund is running Souls to the Polls transportation events Saturday throughout Florida.

UBER AND LYFT DISCOUNTS

Both Uber and Lyft are offering discounts on Election Day for people who need rides to vote.

UBER has added an in-app poll-finding feature, and will offer 50% off roundtrip rides to and from the polls, up to $7 each trip. Full details are available on the Uber website.

Lyft is offering 50% off one ride to any polling location or dropbox, up to $10, using the code "2020VOTE." Full details are available on the Lyft website.

HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY

The Hillsborough Area Regional Transit Authority is offering free bus rides to your polling place on Election Day, November 3. Present your voter information card to get your free ride. To see bus schedules and routes, visit GoHart.org.

PASCO COUNTY

Pasco County Public Transportation, in partnership with the Pasco Supervisor of Elections, is offering free bus rides to the polls from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, November 3. Present a valid voter information card to ride free to your polling place. All buses undergo frequent cleaning. "Our goal is to ensure access for all voters and free transportation helps make that possible," Supervisor of Elections Brian E. Corley said in a news release.

PINELLAS COUNTY

You can get a free ride to the polls via the Pinellas Suncoast Transit Authority bus system. The fares are currently suspended due to the coronavirus pandemic, but PSTA says it offers this free voter ride each year to encourage the community to vote. To see routes and schedules, head to psta.net.
