"This isn't the commencement that the great class of 2020 worked so hard to achieve you should be walking this walk."

Worcester Polytechnic Institute celebrates the Class of 2020 virtually. In this commencement video, President Laurie Leshin expresses how upsetting it is for the class to miss out on a traditional commencement and how proud she and the rest of the faculty are of them. 

Leshin encourages students they will have their traditional commencement in the future. Other area colleges like Assumption College, Nichols College, and Becker College have also posted online commencement videos.

"We hope to celebrate with you in September, so we'll keep in touch as plans progress."
